March 30, 2025 – – – The #23 team wound up at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi and East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama over the March 28-29 weekend. On Friday night in an $8,000 to win Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series contest at Whynot, Cory Hedgecock laid down the eighth fastest lap in Group A during qualifying prior to placing second in his heat race. Unfortunately, Cory was involved in an incident during the 40-lap headliner and was relegated to a sixteenth place showing.
Following a rain-out of Saturday’s HTF program at Whynot, it was off to EAMS for a $10,053 to win Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series battle. Cory suffered mechanical problems from the get-go and only recorded the twentieth fastest lap during the qualifying session. After finishing sixth in his stacked heat race, Cory was unfortunately an early retiree in the 53-lapper and was ultimately placed nineteenth in the final rundown.
