April 6, 2025 – – – Cory Hedgecock Motorsports was one of the 50+ Super Late Model teams in the pit area at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama over the April 4-5 weekend for a Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series double-dip. On Friday night in the $8,000 to win ‘Bama Bash’ opener, Cory Hedgecock laid down the fourth fastest lap in Group B during qualifying prior to running second in his heat race. The Loudon, Tennessee ace then started in the fourth row in the 40-lap main event and ultimately finished in the eighth position.
At TST on Saturday evening with a $12,000 paycheck up for grabs, Cory stopped the clock fifth quickest in Group B during time trials before securing a victory in his heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the third row in the 50-lapper, Cory advanced up to fourth on the one-groove racing surface to trail only victor Sam Seawright, Michael Page, and Ryan Gustin at the checkers. He now finds himself tied for second in the latest version of the HTF point standings exiting the track deemed as the Hornet’s Nest.
