Hedgecock follows Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Smoky Mountain
Cory Hedgecock unloaded his Eagle Racing Engines No. 23 BMF Race Car Late Model at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday to compete with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for the King of the Mountain.
Rebounding after losing position in his heat, Cory raced into the $15,000-to-win A-Main with a fifth-to-second run in his B-Main. Pinned on the 10th row for the feature, Hedgecock climbed four positions when the checkers flew in the 50-lapper to finish 16th.
Cory sits fifth in the latest Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series point standings.
