April 27, 2025 – – – Following a rain-out of Friday’s $12,000 to win weekend opener at Talladega Short Track, Cory Hedgecock Motorsports was one of the 44 teams in the pit area at the Eastaboga, Alabama facility on Saturday, April 26 for the completion of the ‘Alabama Gang 100.’ The World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series presided over the action and a whopping $50,000 first place prize was up for grabs.
Cory Hedgecock toured the Hornet’s Nest second quickest in Group A during the qualifying session prior to securing a victory in his loaded heat race. After starting from the pole position and leading the first thirteen circuits of the 100-lap headliner, Cory was a constant towards the front of the stellar field. At the checkers, the Loudon, Tennessee ace found himself sixth behind only victor Bobby Pierce, Zack Mitchell, Jimmy Owens, Jadon Frame, and Mike Marlar!
