August 10, 2025 – – – The Cory Hedgecock Motorsports team ventured north up I-75 to Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky from August 7-9 to take part in the 43rd edition of the ‘North/South 100.’ Things kicked off at the Cincinnati-area speedplant with a pair of split-field preliminary programs – each headlined by $6,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series main events. On Thursday night in the opener, Cory Hedgecock ran third in his heat race prior to picking off a trio of cars during his 25-lap feature en route to a sterling fourth place performance behind only winner Garrett Alberson, Devin Moran, and Mike Marlar!
At Florence on Friday evening, Cory finished fourth in his loaded heat race and thirteenth in the final rundown of his 25-lapper. With a whopping $75,000 paycheck up for grabs on Saturday, Cory slipped to fourth in his heat race, but later won his B-Main to transfer into the 100-lap crown jewel headliner. During the course of the ‘North/South 100,’ the Loudon, Tennessee ace steered his #23V BMF machine past ten competitors on his way to a ninth place effort.
