September 12, 2025 – – – Following the ‘World 100,’ it was a quick turnaround for the #23V team to be ready for Thursday night, September 11 at Volunteer Speedway. The FloRacing Night in America Series sanctioned the ‘Scott Bloomquist Memorial’ at the Bulls Gap, Tennessee facility and a $20,018 winner’s check was up for grabs.
Cory Hedgecock clicked off the quickest time in Group A during the qualifying session prior to securing an impressive win in his heat race. After starting the 50-lap headliner from the pole position, Cory led the first fourteen circuits of the contest. Unfortunately while running in third spot on lap 26, the Loudon, Tennessee ace cut down a tire and opted to pull off the racing surface to finish in the twenty-first position.
