March 15, 2026 – – – Louden, Tennessee ace Cory Hedgecock was back behind the wheel of his family-owned #23 machine on March 13-14 in a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series shootouts in the Volunteer State. On Friday night at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, Cory placed sixth in his loaded heat race prior to grabbing the third and final transfer spot through his B-Main. Cory then blasted past eleven competitors during the $12,000 to win ‘Rocky Top Rumble’ to land in the eleventh position.
At Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee on Saturday evening, a $20,000 top prize was up for grabs in the ‘Tennessee Tipoff.’ Cory ran fifth in his heat race before securing a victory in his B-Main.
