June 7, 2026 – – – Cory Hedgecock, of Loudon, Tennessee, swept the Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series doubleheader on June 5-6 to elevate his 2026 win total to five! On Friday night at the bad-fast Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee, Cory qualified third quickest in Group B during time trials and later started the 40-lap main event from the sixth position. Cory then led a total of 25 circuits during the contest en route to claiming the $3,000 payday over runner-up Joseph Brown, Aaron Guinn, Jeremy Steele, and Travis Fultz!
At Thunder Mountain Speedway in Corbin, Kentucky on Saturday evening, night two of the ‘TN/KY Borderline War’ took place and Cory once again proved to have the car to beat. Driving the Price family-owned BMF Race Car while Tyler Price continues his recovery, Cory earned Fast Time honors during qualifying prior to leading all fifty circuits in the feature event. At the unfurling of the checkered flag, Cory was celebrating a $5,000 triumph over runner-up Austin Yarbrough, Bubba Roling, Matt Henderson, and Logan Walls!
