May 11, 2024 – – – The Cory Hedgecock Motorsports team made the short trek to I-75 Raceway on Friday evening, May 10 for a Best Plumber 604 Crate Late Model Series contest, which shelled out a $2,000 winner’s check. A strong field of 25 cars was on hand for the event at the Sweetwater, Tennessee oval.
Cory Hedgecock laid down the fourth quickest time during the hot lap / qualifying session and later secured a heat race triumph. After rolling off from the inside of the second row in the 30-lap main event, Cory ultimately finished right where he started… in the third spot behind only race winner Riley Hickman and runner-up Bradley Lewelling.
