September 28, 2025 – – – The Cory Hedgecock Motorsports team headed south to Southern Raceway in Milton, Florida on September 26-27 for the ‘Rumble at the Races.’ The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series sanctioned the doubleheader weekend, which was scheduled to kick off with an $8,000 to win opener on Friday night. Unfortunately, rain showers invaded the area and the weekend was cut short due to inclement weather.
At Southern Raceway on Saturday evening, a $12,000 top prize was up for grabs in the weekend finale. Cory Hedgecock went fourth quickest overall during the qualifying session prior to finishing fifth in his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the fifth row in the 50-lap headliner, Cory was able to drive past a trio of competitors en route to a solid seventh place performance. He still sits third in the latest version of the HTF Series point standings exiting the Sunshine State.
