July 5, 2026 – – – Following a rain-out on Friday night at Big South Fork Raceway, Cory Hedgecock and the #7T team returned to the Huntsville, Tennessee venue on Saturday, July 4 to vie for the $10,000 first place prize money in the ‘Freedom 50.’ Cory stopped the clock third quickest overall during Limited Late Model qualifying prior to finishing second in his heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the second row in the 50-lap headliner, Cory was in the midst of taking the lead when he got his left rear tire cut down. Unfortunately, the Loudon, Tennessee native was relegated to a disappointing twelfth place effort. Full results from last night at BSFR can be viewed online at www.dirtondirt.com.
