May 31, 2026 – – – After taking several weekends off from racing action, Cory Hedgecock was once again behind the wheel of the #7T – normally driven by Tyler Price – on Saturday, May 30 at the nearby I-75 Raceway. The American Crate All-Star Series roared into the Sweetwater, Tennessee venue to sanction the ‘Stars in the Valley 40.’
Cory stopped the clock fourth fastest overall during the 604 Crate Late Model qualifying session prior to running second in his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the second row in the 40-lap main event, Cory drove to the front to collect his third feature win of the 2026 campaign. He picked up the $3,000 first place prize money for besting Trevor Sise, Hayden Cardwell, Logan Walls, and Tyler Arrington! Full results can be located online at www.americanallstarseries.com.
