April 12, 2026 – – – Following a weekend off, the Cory Hedgecock Motorsports team returned to Super Late Model competition on April 10-11 at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia. The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series presided over a pair of events, which kicked off on Friday with an $8,000 to win shootout. Cory Hedgecock stopped the clock fifth quickest in Group B during qualifying prior to placing eighth in his heat race. Unfortunately, he scratched from the B-Main and was not able to advance into the 40-lap feature that was ultimately won by Zack Mitchell.
On Saturday evening with a $12,000 payday up for grabs, Cory started his night by laying down the sixth fastest time in Group A during HTF qualifying. After grabbing the fourth transfer spot through his heat race, Cory rolled off from the inside of the eighth row in the 50-lap feature event. The Loudon, Tennessee ace was then on the move early and often by picking off nine competitors en route to a steady sixth place performance.
