November 9, 2025 – – – Following a couple of rough nights during the ‘World Finals’ at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, Cory Hedgecock Motorsports switched their focus to Clarksville Speedway on Saturday, November 8. The final race in the storied history of the Clarksville, Tennessee oval was sanctioned by the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series and 28 Super Late Model competitors piled into the pit area to do battle for a $10,000 first place prize.
Cory Hedgecock laid down the second quickest lap in Group A during the time trial session and later picked up a heat race triumph. After rolling off from the inside of the second row in the 50-lap headliner, Cory ran as high as second on a couple of different occasions before winding up on the podium in third. The Loudon, Tennessee ace trailed only victor Sam Seawright and runner-up Josh Putnam at the unfurling of the checkered flag.
