Fourth-place finish in J.T. Kerr Memorial at 411 Motor Speedway

Saturday saw Cory Hedgecock return to action with a short trip to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the 11th annual J.T. Kerr Memorial. (Michael Moats photo)

With a 50 Crate Racin’ USA entries crammed into the pit area, Cory’s third-place finish in his heat race placed him on the sixth row for the $10,040-to-win A-Main. After running as high as second, Hedgecock faded after contact with a competitor late in the 71-lapper to finish fourth. He followed Jason Welshan, Cameron Weaver, and Ricky Weiss across the line with Mack McCarter coming in fifth.
