March 23, 2025 – – – The World of Outlaws Late Model Series schedule heated back up on March 21-22 with a doubleheader at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia. Night one of the ‘Battle at the Crossroads’ on Friday drew a 42 car field to do battle for a $12,000 first place prize. Cory Hedgecock went sixth quickest in Group B during the qualifying session prior to finishing a strong second in his loaded heat race. After starting the 35-lap main event from the outside of the third row, Cory was able to advance past two competitors en route to a sterling fourth place effort behind only winner Bobby Pierce, Ryan Gustin, and Drake Troutman!
On Saturday with a $15,000 payday up for grabs, Cory knocked down the tenth fastest time in Group B during time trials and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race. The Loudon, Tennessee ace eventually wound up twenty-fourth in the final rundown of the 50-lap headliner.
