Bad luck arises while leading at 411 Motor Speedway

After Mother Nature postponed Friday’s 12th annual Hangover to Saturday, Cory Hedgecock made the short trip to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon to pilot his Budget Transmissions No. 23 Late Model. With the fastest qualifying effort in time trials placing him on the pole for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Hedgecock jumped out to an early lead but was eventually forced to retire after his car popped out of gear.
